May 2018 to Sept 20 - Yes a big gap as no work in this period, due to house move and complete refurbishment of new property. Not to worry work scheduled to re commence Oct 2020. Engine and Gearbox refreshwill be first up while we refresh the state of play with the rest. Also need to spec the engine and gearbox performance requirements.

Apr 2018 - Both Subframes powder coated and assembly of rear commenced with installation of fully adjustable suspension including Alloy Radius Arms, Hubs and Super Fin Drums. Neg camber of 1,5deg also built in.

Mar 2018 - Body looking Good, underside sprayed with Raptor for future protection and roof in Gloss Black. Lots of wax (2.5 litres in total), pumped into cavities, doors, bonnet and boot.

Feb 2018 - All panels painted - what a super finish not original BMC red - this is a Mecedes colour "Hyacinth Red" which is a deeper red and quite sparkley in the sunshine.

Jan 2018 - Body prep commenced with Boot, Bonnet and doors. We are looking at back  to bare metal all over - inside, underside and outside.

Oct 2017- Finally moved to the Paint Shop - Premier Autobodies, in Read. A body at each corner to lift not too hard as the all up weight is less than 800 kg

Apr 2017 - All Fabrication work completed with new BMH panels married up to the remaining elements of the existing shell - looking like a car again. Not an easy job but a much better end product than the original. Now on hold waiting for a slot at the paint shop.
