The TVR Chimaera is a two-seater convertible sports car manufactured by TVR between 1992 and 2003. The name was derived from Chimera, the monstrous creature of Greek mythology, which was made of the parts of multiple animals. When new the Chimaera was intended to be the long distance tourer of the TVR range and as such was longer, more spacious and had slightly softer suspension than its sister car the TVR Griffith.
The car used the same backbone chassis as the Griffith and used the same derivatives of the Rover V8 engine.
This tidy Chimaera is presented in Cosmos Blue, with a co-ordinated magnolia doe skin interior, and recent blue carpets. The hood and roof are in as new condition and the cabin is enhanced with the addition of Leven accessories.
The vehicle has been serviced since 2009 by TVR specialists X Works near Blackpool, who replaced the outriggers in 2010. The speedometer, which was replaced in May 2013 at 30,178, currently reads 532 miles.
In summary a well cared for and nicely presented 4 Litre Chimera which will not disappoint. Please give us a call to view the car which will be sold with a full service, 12 months MOT and warranty.
