The Superlight R300 is an evolution of the very successful Superlight model, but tweaked to give it a little more punch. It houses a 2.0L Ford Duratec engine, the natural progression from the 1.6 Sigma engine.

The Superlight R300 has been refined to encompass many of the engineering developments and upgrades obtained from Caterhams experience of the various race models within the Caterham Motorsport series. With a limited slip differential and race inspired suspension, an increased rev limit and a tad more power, the Superlight R300 is a phenomenal package.

This Superlight R300 is a one owner vehicle which was first registered on the 1st July 2013. It has covered less than 1000 miles, and benefits from having the SV chassis. This gives increased interior and luggage space due to the greater width and length of the car, making it suited for extended touring. The SV also benefits from the additional stability offered by wide-track front suspension and increased range from a larger fuel tank, with only a 25kg weight penalty over the standard chassis
