Iconic Jaguar “D” Type Recreation (2013) - £19,995.00

We are delighted to be able to offer a recreation of a most iconic British racing car: the Jaguar “D” type. Beautifully presented with accurate external profile in British Racing Green and correct classic cockpit.

Finish in light green and aluminium this car looks every bit the part at a fraction of the price of an original.

D-Types won the Le Mans 24hrs in 1955, 1956 and 1957. Total D-Type production is thought to have been 18 factory team cars, 53 customer cars, and a further 16 XKSS road versions.

Built from Stardust Sports Cars (Twickenham) as a finished factory car in 1993 our car has a GRP body over a fully triangulated epoxy coated space frame chassis and runs a Triumph Straight 6 2500cc engine.  Stardust Sports cars became the Le Mans Sports Cars and the car is identified as such with an appropriate chassis plate.

Also included is the original bill of sale dated 6th June 1993 and all MOT’s post build.
The car was reregistered by DVLA as “Le Mans Sports Car” in August 2013 on application by the current owner.
Prior to delivery to its new owner the car will be serviced, tested and provided with a fresh 12 month MOT.
No plate by separate arrangement.
