We are pleased to offer this Jaguar XK-SS recreation which was engineer built in 1989-90.

It is based on a space frame chassis which was designed by Adrian Reynard of Grand Prix fame. It has an accurate composite body shell produced from moulds traceable to an original car. The chassis and body were supplied from LR Roasters of Newmarket.

The RAM SS  first shown at the 1988 NEC Classic Car Show where people believed it was an original car!. LR’s attention to detail shows as every rivet of the original alloy bodied car is reproduced in the body. 

The Engine is a Jaguar 3.8 from a MK10 complete with triple Weber carburettors and has had a recent rebuild in 2012 and has just covered 600 miles since.  The remaining running gear is 4 speed gearbox with overdrive, XJS Limited Slip Differential , XJS Rear Suspension with narrowed track, front suspension is once again Jaguar but with Reynard lower wishbones and coil over dampers.  The brakes are ventilated at the front and inboard Jaguar at the rear. The wheels are replica Dunlop with knock on’s.

The car has a full re trim including carpets and new hood in 2012 to original D-Type pattern.
This car has been professionally maintained to the highest standard.
