This TR6 was first registered in March 1973 and is therefore Tax Exempt. 

 

It has covered only 1,700 miles in the last seven years, and benefitted from a Body Off restoration in 1998, which included an unleaded fuel conversion.

 

The vehicle comes with a BRITISH MOTOR INDUSTRY HERITAGE TRUST Certificate (Certificate Number 2014/33462) which certifies that the vehicles details correspond with the original factory records. There is also an extensive list of restoration activities, along with comprehensive details of items fitted, including interior, suspension, transmission, cylinder head ,fuel  injectors and pump.

 

Finished in it’s original  Mimosa Yellow  the TR looks wonderfully 70’s Retro, sat on Cobra Superslot alloy wheels with matching set of Fulda 185 70 VR15 tyres.

 

The standard specification steel wheels can be fitted if preferred.

 

The factory spec black diamond pattern seats and wood dash board , together with the chrome rimmed Smiths dials are in charming condition.

 

The black hood presents well, as does all chrome work.

 

On the road, the Triumph drives as you would expect of a car which has had so much sympathetic running restoration.
