TVR Chassis Repairs

 

 

 

4 Years ago we perfected a method of replacing Griffith/Chimera/Cerbera outriggers without the need to remove or cut the body, and the associated costs/risks of body removal. This is a full outrigger replacement from the main chassis. It is NOT a half outrigger, sleeved part way down the original like many companies offer.

Each Outrigger is made in our own jig specifically for your car, this allows us to fine tune each set to your car. Welding is carried out by a professional welder at our premises to achieve the finest quality welds and finish.

All outriggers are then bead blasted, powder coated (choice of color) and all unseen areas protected prior to been fitted to the car. 

Once fitted all welded area’s are sealed and painted to match the chassis, it is then customers choice if they wish to have then clear wax oyled or left shiny silver or white to impress your friends.

 

 

 

Outrigger update

 

Following on from our development with race and track TVR’s we now offer extra steel work to the outrigger and chassis, this allowing the seats to be bolted to steelwork and not fiberglass and a washer. 

 

 A similar modification can be carried out not in conjunction to an outrigger commission but would be in the form of a bolt on cradle.
